Another brother, Seth Aaron Cotton, served in Co D of the 53rd Alabama Cavalry, Partisan Rangers; lost his right arm in 1864; buried at Providence Baptist Church in Dale County. The William G. Cotton who enlisted on 8 March 1862 in Daleville in Co G of the 33rd Alabama Infantry, age 39, is probably another brother, William George Cotton. |
