Possibly related to Lewis Crim, b South Carolina, who appears on the 1860 Dale County Census with wife Nancy E., b Georgia. Lewis had a son John D. Crim who survived the war. Another John Crim appears on the 1860 Dale Census, son of William Crim and wife Elizabeth. His age is given as 25, place of birth South Carolina.
