1 Joseph Cornett, b 20 November 1802 in South Carolina; d 18 January 1893 in Harris County, Georgia. He was
   the son of Hardy Cornett (b 5 August 1769 in Albemarle Parish, Sussex County, Virginia, d aft 1810 in South
   Carolina). Joseph married Tabitha Jones, b 1806 in South Carolina, d 22 October 1885 in Harris County, Georgia.

   2  Frances Cornett, b 29 March 1827 in South Carolina, d 17 January 1897 in Harris County, Georgia

       m Adeline Spence. He was a grocery store keeper in Hamilton, Harris County, Georgia in the 1860 census.
       His grocery store was burned by Union troops on 18 April 1865.
       3  John Randolph Cornett, b 24 August 1856 in Harris County, Georgia, d 8 January 1924 in Columbus,
           Muscogee County, Georgia. He was on the city council of Lawrenceville, Georgia in 1890, and served
           as a US Deputy Marshall in Columbus. In 1897 he joined the Columbus Police Department and served
           as warden of the city stockade. He returned to the Police Department in 1918 and retired in 1920.
