"Samuel WILSON, one of the oldest natives of the county, died at his home
near Mincher's Bridge,
last Tuesday and was buried Wed. He was one of the substantial honest citizens
of his neighborhood.
Respected by all who knew him. He had raised a number of sons and daughters who
are esteemed
in this section. Mr. Wilson was about 76 years old, and was, we understand, a
Primitive Baptist in his
belief, but if he had ever affiliated with the church we are not informed."
