Lord God, we thank you for this day of dedication, and for those who have assembled here to remember and honor the life of Griffin Crumpler.

Give us hearts to cherish our homes, as he did, and to do the daily work that you have given us with steadfastness and humility.

Give us hearts to love our families, as he did, to be ever mindful of the ties that bind us together in faith and love.

Give us hearts to serve, as he did, the ideals of right, and to accept with courage the sacrifices that must be made in that service.

We ask your blessings on us, to bring us all safely home.  Amen.
