hosted the meeting of the General Henry D. Clayton District, Alabama Division,
on February 26, 2011. The meeting
was held at the Citizens Bank Community Room.

Following the business
meeting, members enjoyed a program presented by UDC scholarship
recipient Miss Della Stabler. Della
shared her interest in her Confederate heritage with us, and told us
about her dance group. The
group performs and teaches dances from the period of the War Between the
States. |

We
enjoyed a lovely luncheon and time of fellowship with
District members, ending with "Blest Be the Tie That Binds."
